How the process works
The first step is to tell us about your study, upcoming opportunity or pipeline. Cancer Trials Ireland will identify the most appropriate Disease-Specific Sub-Group (DSSG) and connect the opportunity with the relevant team.
Our DSSGs bring together oncologists and other professionals involved in cancer clinical trials within specific disease areas. They provide a forum for companies to share study opportunities and pipelines with the clinical community, enabling discussion and increasing awareness among clinicians who may have an interest in the study or identify potentially suitable patients.
Where an individual study is appropriate for adoption, it can be added to the Cancer Trials Ireland portfolio and gain wider visibility. Recruiting studies can also be listed on the Cancer Trials Ireland website and made discoverable through our trial search, helping patients, families and healthcare professionals find information about trials available in Ireland.
Once a study has entered the portfolio, it is important that Cancer Trials Ireland is kept informed of key changes, including study openings, site changes, recruitment status and closure. This helps us maintain an accurate and up-to-date picture of cancer trials activity across Ireland.
