About this trial
Patients in the study receive the usual AML treatment of azacitidine and venetoclax, together with either revumenib or a placebo. Researchers want to find out whether the addition of revumenib improves outcomes for people with AML that carries NPM1 or KMT2A genetic abnormalities and who cannot receive intensive chemotherapy.
Patient Profile
Adults aged 18 years or older who have newly diagnosed AML and has not yet received treatment for it. Their leukemia contains a particular genetic abnormality (NPM1 or KMT2A), and because of their age, overall health, or other medical conditions, standard intensive chemotherapy is not considered the best option for them.
