About this trial
E²-RADIatE is a non-interventional non-therapeutic multi-cohort study. Treatment data and treatment/diagnostic related imaging data are collected from consented patients with a pathologic diagnosis of cancer managed with radiotherapy with or without other types of treatment . The aim of E²-RADIatE is the collection of real-world data of cancer patients treated with radiotherapy, to support radiotherapy research and to provide evidence of the role of radiation oncology in a multidisciplinary approach.
The cohorts open in Ireland are OligoCare and ReCare.
OligoCare is an observational cohort study to evaluate radical radiotherapy for oligo-metastatic cancer patients. Oligometastatic disease refers to a stage of disease where a cancer has spread beyond the site of the primary tumour, but is not yet widely metastatic.
ReCare focuses on cancer patients who are treated with high-dose re-irradiation (i.e. a patient who has previously received radiation to the same location within their body).
Patient Profile
OligoCare: patients with oligometastatic cancer who are planned to receive radical radiation therapy
ReCare: patients treated with high-dose re-irradiation for any solid organ malignancy.
