About the webinar
Climate change is already affecting cancer care. From air pollution and environmental exposures to extreme weather events that disrupt healthcare services, its implications extend across cancer prevention, diagnosis, treatment and research.
This 90-minute webinar will bring together oncologists and a patient advocate from different continents to explore how climate change is shaping cancer risk, tumour biology, access to care, health inequalities and the sustainability of oncology services.
The discussion will consider the scientific evidence, challenges facing patients and healthcare systems, and practical approaches to making cancer care and clinical research more sustainable.
