Cancer Retreat 2026 agenda now available!

Cancer Trials Ireland is pleased to release the final agenda for the 2026 Cancer Retreat, taking place this Friday, 22 May, at College Hall, RCSI, Dublin.

The retreat will bring together members of the oncology research and cancer trials community from across Ireland for a morning of discussion, collaboration and shared learning focused on the evolving clinical trials landscape and future opportunities for cancer research in Ireland.

The newly released agenda includes full details of the day’s sessions, chairs and speakers, featuring contributions from national and international leaders across cancer clinical trials, public and patient involvement, academic research and industry. Highlights include a keynote address from Prof. Benjamin Besse, President-Elect of EORTC, alongside interactive breakout discussions exploring the future direction of cancer trials and research capacity in Ireland.

The programme also includes updates on optimisation trials, public and patient involvement, national research strategy and clinical trials infrastructure, with participation from investigators, research teams, Patient Consultants Committee members, industry representatives and healthcare leaders from across the network.
