8th May 2013 is the first World Ovarian Cancer Day. On this day, ovarian cancer organisations from around the world will unite to educate their communities about ovarian cancer and its symptoms. For women living with the disease, and their families and friends, World Ovarian Cancer Day will build a sense of solidarity in the fight against the disease.
In Ireland OvaCare are organising a patient day in Cork this Sat, 27th April 2013 in the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Little Island.
The event is an information day for both present and past Ovarian Cancer Patients and their families. It provides the opportunity to hear from leading clinicians, therapists and researchers and a chance to meet with fellow patients.
