ICORG Video Launch For Cancer Week Ireland 2015 September 14th - 20th
The Irish Cancer Society and Trinity College Dublin have once again teamed up to hold Cancer Week Ireland – a programme of events highlighting how more people are surviving cancer and how clinical trials and research are making a real difference.
National Cancer Strategy for 2016-2025
Leo Varadkar TD, Minister for Health recently announced a public consultation on the development of a National Cancer Strategy for 2016-2025. The Department of Health is seeking the views of the public on cancer services and on priorities for a new cancer strategy. ICORG has welcomed the announcement and believe that Clinical Research has to be prioritised in the next Cancer Strategy. Through appropriate funding ICORG should be placed in a strong position to bring more new treatments to Irish cancer patients.
